I was born and grew up in Birmingham. My husband and I moved to Stafford after we were married and then a few years later we moved to Shropshire. I have been a member of Loppington WI for about 16 years.
I didn't know any of the members when I joined but they were very welcoming and I soon made some new friends. Whilst at Loppington WI I took on the role of Treasurer for 6 years, and for the past 7 years I have been the Wem Group Treasurer. In more recent times I undertook the training to be an Independent Financial Examiner and have been examining WI books. I thoroughly enjoy being a WI member.
