Shropshire born and bred and very proud of it! I have been a member of Harmer Hill & District WI for 40 years. A retired teacher. I was introduced to WI by my wonderful Mother in law, herself a founding member with her two Aunts in 1955.
Having served as President, Vice President and Secretary over the years I became our Group Convenor. I have entered too many SFWI shows to remember and delighted in working with other members making many friends old and new.
WI has played a large part in my life and as a new board member but an old hand, I am looking forward to taking on new roles and challenges
Besides being an active member Harmer Hill & District WI I am Church Warden,a village hall committee member, a volunteer with The League of Friends Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital shops and Fundraising Committee.
