WI Advisers and Groups
Advisers
WI Advisers are part of the Federation Team, trained by National Federation (NF) to provide help, support and advice to assist the smooth running of your WI. Advisers are also responsible for the actual physical opening of a WI. Once open, they will visit on request, are always friendly and approachable and love to join in the fun at meetings and events.
Groups
Many WIs network in Groups (see below in bold) and are a good way to meet fellow WI members and participate in group meetings or outings. The Groups are led by a Convener, who is a rep from one of each Group’s members. WIs take turns with the Convener role.
