We are a small (c.20) but busy WI. Our meetings consist of a 20 minute business session, followed by a speaker on an interesting topic, a demonstration, craft or other activity, and time to socialise over a tea or coffee. We usually have a summer meeting in a member’s garden. As well as our 11 programmed meetings, in August, we organise a visit to a local attraction or other optional event.
Other WI related activities include a variety of craft related workshops throughout the year and members may join one or more of three sub-groups – Lunch Club, Garden Group and Walking Group
Visitor Cost: £5 per evening meeting for the first two visits. Higher costs may apply if we are hosting something special.
Venue information: Parking is limited, with room for only two or three cars at the hall itself. To the left of the hall is St. Mary’s Primary School. We can use their parking spaces in an evening with more spaces available behind those. The hall is accessible by wheelchair at the main entrance.
