I moved to Shrewsbury in 2000 to take up new job. Moving from Malvern with my husband and 3 children. My first introduction to the WI was through my mother-in-law, who was a member.
Her WI kindly did the catering , flowers and room decorations for our wedding in 1986.
I joined St Giles WI in 2012 after visiting with a neighbour and later joined the committee and became Treasurer.
It has been lovely to join the Board and support them in the role of Treasurer.
I am looking forward to learning more about all the great work the Board do and when time allows get involved more activities.
